Tammy Coelho

Since her induction, Tammie has brought joy, color, and creativity to everything she

touches—often literally! Whether she's donning whimsical face paint or brightening up

community events by painting the faces of others, her artistic flair and cheerful presence

have quickly become a beloved part of our club's spirit.

 

An esthetician by trade, Tammie brings both professional skill and a fresh, imaginative

perspective to Lions service. Her ideas may sometimes seem unconventional at first, but

once in motion, we’re continually amazed by how meaningful and impactful they become.

We are fortunate to support Tammie and her inspiring vision—she reminds us that thinking

outside the box often leads to beautiful results.

The highlight of Tammie’s contributions this year was a unique two-part project that perfectly blended fundraising with service. The first part, a holiday fundraiser, featured “Photos with the Grinch” during the Downtown Camas Association's Christmas Tree Lighting event.

 

Tammie transformed fellow Lion Leslie into the Grinch with her signature face painting, and families were invited to snap festive photos in exchange for donations.

Those donations directly funded the second part of the project:creating “Heavy Helpers”— large stuffed animals filled with aquarium rock, designed to provide sensory comfort to children in  need.

 

Tammie's leadership, creativity, and community spirit are a shining example of Lionism in action. Her passion proves that service can be joyful, colorful, and healing—all at once.
