Welcome To The Camas Lions
Serving Our Community and the World
Camas Lions Club is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Natalia’s Restaurant, 437 NE 4th Ave, Camas, WA. Our meetings feature guest speakers and discussions on recent and upcoming service projects.
As part of the global Lions Club International network, we are committed to making a positive impact both locally and globally. Whether it’s cleaning up a local park, providing scholarships for Camas School District graduates, or helping improve access to vision and hearing care, our mission is simple: “We Serve.”
On a global scale, Lions are working to prevent blindness, support youth through drug awareness programs, and promote health initiatives. Locally, we collect eyeglasses, assist with hearing aids, and gather food for those in need in our community.
Join us in making a difference! Together, we can serve those who need it most.
WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.
WHAT WE DO
Our Mission
To empower Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding.
VISION
Helping Those Who Need Us Most
We serve to prevent avoidable blindness and improve quality of life for people who are blind and visually impaired.
HEARING
Change for the Better
Through our Capacity Building program, we have the potential to make real and positive change. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Camas Lions, and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization.
HUNGER
Hunger in Washinton
In Washington, 638,210 people are facing hunger - and of them 203,430 are children. People facing hunger in Washington are estimated in needing $357,002,000 more per year to meet their food needs.
Empowering Others
We are committed to providing youth and young adults with opportunities to succeed. The Lions Quest program provides young people and their educators with tools to make positive choices, resist drugs and alcohol, learn through service and become healthy young men and women.
ENVIRONMENT
Transforming Lives
We serve to sustainably protect and restore our environment to improve the well-being of all communities.
CHILDHOOD CANCER
Empowering Others
